Abstract: The article deals with the innovative method of rehabilitation of younger schoolchildren with hearing impairment. The urgency of the investigated problem is caused by insufficiency of the methods of musical and speech stimulation in rehabilitation of children with hearing impairment. The most modern and progressive technique is the development of speech and musicality in the process of playing the block flute, the instrument with an oscillating column of air that, when playing, enters the channels of bone and tissue conduction to the brain and is recorded as the sound of a particular pitch. In 1932, the Russian scientist-otolaryngologist G. G. Kulikovsky found out that the oscillations of the waves to the Corti organ, the receptor part of the auditory analyzer, are transmitted not only by air through the ear, but also through the skull bones by tissue, which positively affects the increase in the threshold of audibility through the channels of bone and tissue conductivity (Ya. S. Temkin, 1957; S. Portmann, 1961; V. P. Morozov, 1970; and others). It is noted that the malfunction of cortical centers activates bone conduction, there is a poor perception of speech with a relatively good perception of pure tones (V. F. Undrits). Thus, the distinction of pure tones is an easier task than the analysis of speech signals and the synthesis of verbal concepts. Crucial for us is the fact of bone tissue conductivity and the possibility of playing the block flute by younger students. Playing melodies contributes to musical stimulation, singing a song activates speech rehabilitation of younger schoolchildren with hearing impairments.
The article is prepared within the framework of the previously developed program "Renewed hearing" and is aimed at promoting this innovative technique that allows to intensify the rehabilitation process.
