Socio-Cultural Significance of the Communicative Competence

Abstract: The problem of the composition and the component detection of the communicative competence is described. Formation of the competence correlates with the formation of the knowledge. It is suggested to single out socio-cultural competence as the main for Russian as a foreign language teaching.
