Abbot A. Surugue: Portrait of a Teacher-Jesuit (End of the XVIII th – Beginning of The XIX th Centuries)

Abstract: On the example of Abbot A. Syuryuga, mentor of Count Alexander Musin-Pushkin’s children in the beginning of XIX century, the author raises the problem of correlation between the effectiveness of the methods and techniques of education and training with the moral and ethical foundations of Russian society.
