Abstract: Potential of academic and social practices in the higher educational establishment necessary for the transition from understanding of the world to development of attitude to it in the educational process is described. Synthesis of personal opinions and metapersonal qualities appears in the course of such transition, the experience of empathy, cooperation, creativity, responsibility and independence are acquired. Invariable components of social practices are revealed, which support integrity of educational process.
