Review of Transition to Opensource Software in Russian School

Abstract: The article covers the period of transition to free software in Russian educational institutions. A review of the promotion of ideology of free software introduction in Russia and foreign countries has been done. The ways to solve the existing contradictions while implementing free software in educational facilities have also been suggested in the article.
