Abstract: The role of Ural State Pedagogical University Rector B.M. Igoshev in training pedagogues of Sverdlovsk Oblast is discussed. The work of the scientist of SSPU (Sverdlovsk State Pedagogical University) – USPU in 1970 – 2000 is analyzed. The contribution of B. M. Igoshev in the development of additional education for young people in Sverdlovsk Region, continuous education and USPU quality management is studied. The work of B.M.Igoshev in the position of Vice-rector for Scientific Work and International Cooperation, and later USPU Rector is analyzed.
