Abstract: The article describes the diagnosis of position changes in the personality of a teenager with deviant behavior in the process of rehabilitation in a closed institution. The processes of changing the position of the person in his ―should, can, want‖ undergo diagnosis, when teenagers pass through the phases of personality development described by A. V. Petrovsky.
