Conceptual Domain «Plants» as an Object of Linguistic Study

Abstract: The paper provides a synopsis of contemporary linguistic works devoted to conceptual domain «Plants». The author describes a number of approaches which help to explore plant metaphors in different types of discourse. In addition, the advantages of contrastive method are considered.
