Prospects of Development of Department of Pedagogy of BSU Named after Acad. I. G. Petrovsky in Modern Conditions

Abstract: The article considers the basic strategic directions of development of the Department of Pedagogy of Bryansk State University in the process of modernization of professional education. Implementation of a competence approach in the educational process entails changing the position of lecturer in educational environment. The article describes the basic models of a University teacher. It defines the role of the Department of Pedagogy in the formation of the socio-cultural environment of the University, in the improvement of the character of interaction of participants of the educational process from the position of subjectivity.
