Complex Measures for Psychological and Pedagogical Support of Self-adaptability as a Basis for the Formation of Socio-Psychological Competence of College Students

Abstract: The paper contains a study of the complex measures for psychological and pedagogical support of self-adaptability as a basis for the formation of socio-psychological competence of first year college students. Usually the authors working on the problems of adaptation of freshmen primarily consider adaptation as a process of entry into the educational environment of the college. However, from our point of view, self-adaptability of first-year students is the basis for their social competence-development in the educational environment of the college. Therefore the development of a set of measures for psychological and pedagogical support of self-adaptability as a basis for the formation of socio-psychological competence of students of institutions of the ACT seems important to us. We have chosen the concept of competence-based approach in education of I. A. Zimnyaya as a basis for our research. The article is an excerpt from the author’s program of psycho-pedagogical support of self-adaptability as a basis for the formation of socio-psychological competence of college students.
