Abstract: The article deals with the evolution of socio-cultural and psycho-pedagogical support of parentage and singles out factors influencing the change of attitude to parentage and family. The All-Russian Sports Complex “Ready to Work and Defense” (GTO) is considered to be a mechanism of organization of spiritual, moral and patriotic education in the family and a means of returning to some values, traditional for the Russian society.
