Abstract: There is an active transition of educational organizations in the Russian Federation into the status of budgetary and autonomous institutions. Management of the organization in a new status causes its head considerable difficulties, because they meet with new activities. One of such activities is the process of attracting additional funding to educational institutions. One of the ways to attract additional funding is the development of a network of paid educational services. Organization managers are often forced to create a system of paid educational services for the first time in the institution or to resort to expanding the range of paid educational services provided by the educational institution. The object of research is the work of the institution head in order to organize paid educational services. The purpose of the study is to identify the stages of activity of the institution head in the provision of paid educational services in the educational organization. The following research methods are used: an overview and an analysis of the framework of regulatory documentation. The result of this research is the procedure of planning and organizing the functioning of the system of paid educational services, including the procedure for calculating the cost of paid educational services. The algorithm of activity of the person responsible for paid educational services in an educational organization includes twelve sequential stages. The results of the study may be used in practical management of preschool and secondary educational institutions.
