Abstract: The article raises the urgent problem of diagnostics of children's giftedness, proves the untenability of the traditional intelligence tests and the benefits of long-term psycho-pedagogical monitoring for the comprehensive identification of talent, and offers an adapted version of questionnaire to identify the type of talent as the primary stage in the monitoring system.
