Abstract: The authors consider health as a multidimensional phenomenon and describe it as a spiritual and moral determinant of human well-being. The phenomenon of health is justified from the standpoint of subject-centered and existential-humanistic approaches. The study gives a definition of the concept of «health» based on the laws of the subject-centered and existential-humanistic approaches; it also outlines the criteria for assessing human health in the context of subject-centered and existential-humanistic concepts.
