Abstract: The article deals with the issues of formation of professional and general professional competences of students mastering the Bachelor program in the specialty "Pedagogical Education" the profile of "Primary Education" at the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Childhood of the Ural State Pedagogical University in practical training. There are many different ways and methods to develop these competences by giving lessons at school and organizing extracurricular activities. Besides, the article describes the main difficulties experienced by the student, making the first steps in the profession. The results of comparison of the basic competences and requirements to development of the program of the Bachelor degree designated in the Federal State Educational Standard and in the Professional Standard of a Teacher are presented. The author has developed a method of evaluating the lessons given by students in the period of school practice to ensure uniform requirements for certification of students in the development of this block of the program on the basis of the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education and Professional Teacher Standard. The proposed technique can be used by teachers of university in the certification of students in the block "Practice" and heads of practice at school. The use of the proposed methodology by teachers of university and heads of practice at school is aimed at identifying the dynamics of the formation of general professional and professional competencies in students. The evaluation criteria are correlated with the general professional and professional competences. The typical mistakes and difficulties of students in practice due to insufficient formation of competences and personal characteristics of the student are described.
