Abstract: The article deals with different approaches to the definition of “interaction” in such sciences as Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, and Pedagogy. Interaction is “a special form of communication between people, processes, actions and phenomena, as a result of which there is a change in their initial qualities or states; it leads to synthesis, integration of objects, to a single action.” In the scientific literature such synonyms are used: interrelation, influence, joint activity or actions, etc. The types of interaction are considered: interpersonal, social, pedagogical, informational, psychological and communication; besides the types of interaction of educational organizations are described: informational, administrative, social, organizational, providing, and developing. The management of the interaction of organizations is understood as “a process aimed at providing project participants with the required and real information displayed not only in a standardized form, but also allowing its subsequent analysis and use”. The concepts of “network organization”, “network and non-network interaction” are analyzed. A network organization is a type of organization whose structure is a free, connected, flexible, horizontally organized network of essentially equal and independent partners different in their roles and functions. Network interaction is a system of connections that allows developing, testing and offering the professional pedagogical community innovative models of the content of education and management of the education system; it is a way of activity on joint use of resources. Non-network interaction is any interaction between educational establishments (conferences, educational meetings, joint activities, etc.); any interaction between the educational establishments using the Internet; interaction when educational establishments exchange information (discoveries, ideas, ways of activity) and communicate with each other via some resources. The definition of modern interaction management is specified – it is special forms of communication between people, processes, actions, phenomena, as a result of which there is a change in their initial qualities or states, which leads to synthesis and integration of objects.
