Oath of Allegiance as Means of Reconciling Moral Contradictions in the Times of Armed Conflicts

Abstract: The paper describes such type of military training as one based upon the importance of allegiance to soldier’s oath. This oath is supposed to form the basis for overcoming moral scruples a soldier may experience while taking part in armed conflicts, i. e. scruples one has while killing a human due to circumstances and obligations.
