A Study of the Intellect Structure of the Student-Mathematicians: The Problem of the Success of Education

Abstract: In the article within the problems of the success of education in High School is carried out a study of the structure of the intellect for the students of the mathematical department of pedagogical university with the help of IST R. Amthauer test. Two groups of the students are studied: deducted in the period of study and continued study (completed). It is shown that in the limits of statistical errors there are no significant differences in the intellect profiles for both student groups. The conclusion is made that the main reasons of the student deductions are sociopsychological, not connected with the structure of intellect.
