Scientific-Historic Component of Physics Teacher’s Educational Work in Schoolchildren’s Professional Self-Determination

Abstract: Nowadays, there is a problem of the professional orientation of the students at a secondary school, which is conditioned by the social, economic and psychological factors. We will examine one of the ways of solving this problem. It is supposed, that a teacher of physics can broaden students` outlook and develop their professional opportunities. To bring foregoing points to life, it is supposed to: 1) teach students (future teachers of physics), 2) use the historic-methodological approach in teaching in their connection with the principle of the practical trend in teaching physics at school, taking as an example selective material in history, science and technology.
