Civilizational Identity (New Facts about Russian Education in the ХXI Century)

Abstract: In the article we consider the theory of civilizations in two modern directions — materialistic and cultural historic in the context of formation of a modern human being. Civilizational identity is presented as a problem of preservation of cultural differences in the period of globalization in frames of development of new paradigms of modern education. We offer the ways to solve the problems of preservation of cultural differences by means of forming civilizational identity in the organization and the content of education.
