Abstract: The article focuses on a competence- and activity-based approach to the enhancement of personal, social and cultural orientation in the processes of implementation of the basic educational programs in primary school. Structural and logical framework of civil competences for junior pupils is viewed as methodological background for projecting the aims of educational activities in primary school.
