Abstract: Vocational counseling problems at the present stage of development of the society, influence of vocational counseling on professional self-determination are described in the article. The structural functional model of vocational counseling of establishment of the general (full) secondary education is presented. The article pays attention to formation of readiness for continuing education as a definite social competence.
