Language and Culture in Linguistic Education of Primary Schoolchildren

Abstract: The problem of applying cultural-historic tendency of linguistic education in teaching Russian in primary school is argued. The concepts of «lingoculturology», «cultural-historic tendency of linguistic education» are disclosed. The attempt to solve the problem is undertaken while analysing text-books for primary school.
