Human Values of Folk Pedagogy in the Works by V. M. Shukshin

Abstract: The problem of education of young people according to the folk pedagogy ideas is dwelt upon. Different approaches to defining human and ethnic values are presented, their differences and similarities are stated. It is claimed, on the basis of the works by V. M. Shukshin, that the best source of determination of guiding line for young people is literature, owing to which personal development is in harmony with the nature which agrees with the ideas of folk Pedagogy.
