Abstract: The article describes the contents of the socio-pedagogical drug abuse prevention in educational institutions. The main purpose of socio-pedagogical drug abuse prevention is the utilization of social resources in order to accomplish the goals of drug abuse prevention. In the author’s opinion the main efforts are to be concentrated on the potentials of social institutions and on the inner potential of the students. Socio-pedagogical model of drug abuse prevention is a new approach in solving the most acute problem in preventive pedagogical practice.
