Training «Art Education» Students Seeking Master’s Degree to Independent Scientific Research Work

Abstract: Problems of training competitors for Master’s degree in «Art Education» for independent scientific research work and completing master’s degree dissertation are discussed. The author analyses the history of music and artistic teacher’s scientific research in the USSR and Russia and compares problems of pedagogic and artistic education in the past and today. The author proposes the methods of Master’s degree students of «Art Education» to develop competences for independent scientific research.
