Abstract: The necessity of learning mathematical language in teaching elementary mathematics is proved. Heuristic task is proposed as a means of teaching mathematical language. Analysis of psychological and educational works shows that an important place in the search for heuristic solutions of problems is a reformulation of the texts. It is proposed to reword the tasks with the stress on formality of the statements by means of logic of the statements, logic of predicative elements and isomorphism of interpretations. The article provides examples of heuristic problems of elementary mathematics, their texts are transformed according to the means of mathematical logic.
