Abstract: The article deals with educational situation, educational environment, social environment, university district, educational space, social space from the point of the pedagogical field of knowledge. The system of interconnection of the notions indicated above is revealed in the context of its functioning in the university. Interdisciplinary categories are given a methodological proof by pointing out special approaches and principles.
