Abstract: The idea of self-cognitive realization of students in educational system as an integrative factor is proved in pedagogical literature for the first time. The author reveals a fundamental regularity of education and independence of students: on the one hand their educational activity influences their self-cognition and self-education and self-actualization influence self-upbringing; and on the other hand self-cognition gives feedback to self-education and self-upbringing influences self-education and self-cognition. But self-education has fundamental (basic) role, self-cognition — integrative and self-upbringing — determinative.
