Local Court in the Perm Province in 1873—1893: The Level of Education of Judges

Abstract: The article is devoted to the poorly investigated topic of the educational level of local judges of the Perm province in 1873—1893, who dealt with “minor” criminal and civil cases. Study of the local court helps to assess achievements of the reformed judicial system, the influence of the local court on the population and modernization of public consciousness.
