Methodical Potential of the Category «Method» in Studying Russian Realism at School

Abstract: The possibility to use the category of «method» in studying literature of the XIXth century is discussed. The main idea is the unity of theory and history, preservation of the notions used in the epoch studied. The history of development of the notion «realism» and changes within it are studied.
