Gender Aspect in Children's Literature: What the Boys Read?

Abstract: Children's literature is shown as the institute of boy's gender socialization. Standard set is represented for boy's reading, which promotes forming of gender stereotypes. The various points of view are offered about what the boys have to read. Relations of pedagogues and children at the beginning of XXI century is also detected.
