Abstract: The problem of education of civic consciousness of children of senior preschool age through the realization of the complex of pedagogical conditions, which promote efficiency of educational process, is considered in the article. The pedagogical conditions are the development of the informative entertainment program ―I Am Russian‖; the creation of the subject developing environment which is promoting the education of civil qualities of the preschool child including literary works of the art and civil contents, games of civil orientation; the inclusion of children into the heritage of the native land by means of excursion and local history activity
