The All-Russian Sports Complex “Ready to Work and Defense” (GTO) in the Process of Physical Development of Schoolchildren

Abstract: The article deals with the problems connected with the introduction of ARSC “GTO” in relation to pre-school children. The author establishes the connection of the ARSC “GTO” complex with the process of physical development of pre-school children and the influence of physical exercises on the qualification in the ARSC “GTO” and proposes the content, forms of organization and control of self-training in physical education as a means of development of broad popular masses.
