Structure of Professional Competence of Translators and Interpreters

Abstract: The article considers the structure of professional competence of translators and interpreters. The author signifies two basic groups of professional competence components, formulates criteria of readiness for each of them on theoretical and practical basis, and performs a comprehensive systematic analysis of relevant phenomena.
