Integrative Approach to Teaching Listening Comprehension of Authentic Information Broadcasts

Abstract: This article describes an integrative approach to teaching listening comprehension of authentic information broadcasts, formulated on the basis of individual event-driven and direct approaches. It also justifies the choice of certain methods and means of teaching listening comprehension of authentic information broadcasts.
