Abstract: In Plattdeutsch verbal predicative frame is not borrowed from Latin and it is artificially supported in written form of standard German, at the same time it is not an obsolete form while it is an obligatory means of the structure of both simple sentence and dependent clause. Meanwhile the deviation (complete or partial) from the above mentioned frame takes place seldom and is caused chiefly by such extralinguistic factors as emotional colouring of dialects and desire to stress the main point in an utterance. The linguistic factors are rhythmical weight of this or that sentence component and specific grammatical nature of sentence components such as infinitive groups, comparative constructions that bring additional information and as rule should be placed within a frame.
Key words: Framing construction; sentence construction; word order; standard German; Plattdeutsch.
