Abstract: The article studies personal features of the cadets of a military training centre at a higher educational institution. Military training centers at civil educational institutions of higher education represent a new type of educational institution whose main objective is preparation of officers in a context of modernization of army and military reform. Military training centers at high schools represent an absolutely new structure from the organizational and pedagogical point of view, therefore many theoretical and practical aspects of their functioning are in just being worked out. One of such aspects is diagnostics, the analysis and the account of personal features of cadets in the organization of educational process.
