Abstract: The article attempts to the problem of communicative-cognitive training foreign language in the basis of which there is the cognitive mechanism as a sign system, playing the role in coding and transforming information. The basic statements and criteria mentioned in the article are helpful for students’ understanding and deliberating of linguistic phenomena and their communicative significance in the learning process of foreign language.
