Abstract: The paper contains a study of the individual personal component of socio- psychological competence of college students and provides the results of evaluation of its formation in a number of colleges of Sverdlovsk region. We have chosen the concept of social character of competence in education formulated by I. A. Zimnyaya as a basis for our research [2]. Agreeing with I.A. Zimnyaya that all types of competence are social, we also believe that all competences are individually and psychologically conditioned. The article innumerates a number of measures aimed at creating effective psycho-pedagogical conditions for the formation of personal socio-psychological competence of students during their study at a college.
