Abstract: The paper studies senior secondary school pupils’ individual differences in the process of formation of foreign language lexical concepts. The author gives definitions to such concepts as: “senior secondary school pupils’ knowledge of foreign language lexical concepts” and “ability of senior secondary school pupils to be taught foreign language lexical concepts’. The article presents recommendations and exercises for teaching vocabulary, taking into account levels of motivation, cognitive interests, level of training and learning, memory and specific properties of mentality, and also channels of information perception.
