The Importance of Symbols in Formation of the Image of Personal Physical Perfection

Abstract: The article deals with the phenomenon of physical perfection of a person. The author considers the formation of the given concept in the context of development of the national system of physical education in the XX century, analyzes its symbolic nature and defines the perspectives for its application in the process of propagating healthy lifestyle.
