Education Results: Designing and Diagnostics (On the Example of the Discipline “Mathematical Analysis”)

Abstract: The article deals with the importance of designing assessment means funds for the diagnostics of the quality of vocational training of students, which would enable the assessment of academic achievements of students through the prism of degree of formation of general cultural, general vocational and specific professional competences. Taking into account the set of competences included in the Federal Educational Standards, the designers of basic educational programs, syllabi and pedagogical assessment means should shift their attention from the content of education (what knowledge the teacher should give to the student) to the education results (what skills a student must be able to perform after a successful study of a discipline). Working out, concretization and diagnostics of education results make up a complex and many sided process, connected with the creation of taxonomy of goals and a clear cut formulation of education tasks while realizing a dynamic model of formation of competences and qualification.
