Preschool Education in Amur Region: Historical And Contemporary Survey

Abstract: The article reveals questions of foundation and development of the system of preschool education in Amur region from the time of beginning exploration of this territory by the Russian Empire in the second half of the 19th century to the beginning of the 21st century. The article reviews the experience of foundation of the first kindergartens and analyzes the questions of methodological and methods support and staffing preschool establishments. The article dwells on the variety of preschool institutions and the order of their appearance. The author analyzes the ways of educational activities of kindergartens from the point of view of the Amur regional specificity. Identification of the said areas of activity is caused by the tendencies of socio-economic development of society and the direction of development of pedagogical science. Characteristics of the content of children's activity in preschool education show a large number of objectively existing and recurring relationships and dependencies in the preschool education process. The article reveals the problems of organization of modern models of preschool institutions. It touches upon questions of government support of preschool education in Amur region and describes the most important documents about successful functioning of children’s institutions in the region. Special attention is paid to professional training of personnel for kindergartens. The author outlines the ways of optimization of the system of preschool education in Amur region at the present stage of development.
