Psycho-Pedagogical Support of Family: Theoretical Conceptualization and Practical Implementation

Abstract: The urgency of the study is determined by the destruction of the family and parent-child relationship, due to several socio-economic, socio-political, interpersonal and other problems that determine the necessity of psycho-pedagogical support of the family in the modern socio-cultural space. In this regard, this article is aimed at disclosure of a number of fundamental approaches: humanistic, systemic-evolutional, subject-active, existential, personality-oriented and anthropological, allowing to consider the psycho-pedagogical support of the family, because such consideration of one phenomenon allows us to identify both the most common and, on the contrary, its specific features. The article presents the main aspects of psycho-pedagogical support of the family: diagnostic, correctional and developmental, consultative, educational and socio-dispatching, causing significant changes in the family system and strengthening parent-child relationships. Understanding the main aspects of psycho-pedagogical support of the family helps to delve deeper into its content, which increased the efficiency of the use of the tools of its organization. The materials of the article are of practical value for practical work of education psychologists, centers of social services for the population and services of psycho-pedagogical support.
