Abstract: The article deals with teaching schoolchildren tolerance, which is looked upon as one of the key aspects of creation of favorable psychological climate in a children’s collective. The article considers the priority kinds of activity of the teacher in creation of favorable psychological climate in the children's team through various extracurricular forms of interaction between the members of the form group, as well as between teacher and pupils. The article focuses on the problems connected with tolerance as a peculiar property of a personality. Much attention is paid to various methods of forming communicative, personal and universal learning actions in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Basic General Education. The author of the article argues that education of tolerance in a children’s group helps to form in the pupils understanding of techniques of independent solution of conflicts as is, therefore, an inseparable part of the education process. The article also provides the author's development of a series of out-of-class talks aimed at the formation of tolerance in relationships within the form group. The author of the article suggests the need to form a healthy psychological climate in a group of children, because the relationships between pupils are crucial for the personal development of the child and promotes better acquisition of educational material by the pupil and the fullest development of his personality.
