Abstract: The article presents a review of the monograph by E.M. Kakzanova «Proper noun inside a term» (M., Galleya-Print. 2015. – 292 p.). The monograph is concerned with the representation of cultural knowledge in mega-language of science. The author explains national and cultural specificity of proper nouns inside eponymic terms structure. The analysis of the monograph made it possible to conclude that the goal of detailed analysis of international eponymic terms is reached by the author. The eponymic terms occupy a definite place in the mega-language of science, which is determined by the specific features of a proper name in the structure of this term. The book is targeted for researchers and education specialists.
