Technology of Monitoring of Self-development of a Preschooler with Disabilities in Additional Education

Abstract: The article defines the notion of “monitoring” and analyzes its functions in the educational system. The article presents the author's self-monitoring technology implemented in additional education of children. An important result of the application of monitoring technology in educational practice is improvement of the quality of the educational process through the search for effective forms, methods and techniques of self-development of children during the development of additional educational programs of various kinds. The article provides a system of tools to implement technology of self-development monitoring in additional education; methods worked out by the author and modifications of the existing methods may be used as assessment tools. Such diagnostic complex is used to determine the level of self-development of a person; to build an individual route on the basis of the monitoring; and to determine the dynamics of personality components, value, motivational, communicative, creative and affective spheres. The result of implementation of this self-development monitoring technology in additional education is promotion of self-development of every child, perfection of educational process with the help of tendencies found in the monitoring. An important result of the monitoring technology is an increase of education quality due to identification of the most efficient forms, methods and techniques of self-development of children in additional education.
