Abstract: The article discusses the structural and functional model of conflictological readiness of the future teacher-psychologist in the course of vocational training in higher school. Based on the analysis of a number of definitions of the term «conflictological readiness» and «conflictological competence», the author suggests her own interpretation of these terms. To make the definition of «conflictological readiness» more precise, we studied the nature of the conflict which led to the conclusion that conflictological readiness of the future teacher-psychologist is associated with the conflict competence, it embodies practical aspects of special professional activities and it is defined as a type of professional readiness of specialists to perform certain work functions in a professional conflict environment. The author suggests a structural and functional model of conflictological readiness of the future teacher-psychologist, which will allow a more comprehensive approach to the problem of training specialists in the field of educational mediation. Theoretical and methodological bases of the developed pedagogical model for conflict competences formation are the systematic, person and activity based and competency-based approaches. In the course of this research we singled out: model sets, realization principles of the given model, and stages of formation of conflict readiness of future educational psychologists. This model consists of several units: target, methodology, content, methodology and technology, assessment and criterion and result. These units include the rationale for the acquisition of conflictological competencies by future specialists as a result of effective preparedness of teachers-psychologists; the development of a specific methodological content of the learning process. Based on the analysis of conflictological competences we highlight the following of its components: intelligent, predictive, communicative, self-regulative and practical. The developed pedagogical model for conflict readiness formation is available and universal; it allows a specialist with a Bachelor degree to be competitive at the labour market.
