The Relationship Between Communication Skills and Stress in Young Age

Abstract: The article considers some patterns of behavior in adolescence - the period of development of a young person of 16-18 years. It analyses the peculiarities of communication skills in early adolescence. The article focuses on the peculiarities of manifestation of communication skills connected with typical experiences in adolescence, on the one hand, and with the existing life experience, on the other. Stress is considered as the ability to maintain and to improve mental functioning and activities when interacting with people, stress loads associated with interpersonal conflicts. The article discusses the relationship between communicative and organizational skills and the strategies of behavior in stressful situation and a person's resilience. Using the methods of mathematical processing of data - correlation analysis, percentage calculation - the study established relationships between indicators of communicative skills, resilience, socio-psychological adaptation and conflict behavior of boys and girls. According to the data obtained during this research, boys and girls of this age are characterized by a sufficient level of persistence in achieving goals, the desire to create a good opinion of themselves, a thirst for fame. The level of stress of boys and girls finishing school is low, and the prevailing strategy of behavior in difficult situations is coping focused on avoidance.
